While products are in storage, Brightpoint India will offer a full inventory management solution, ensuring that stock is kept in a secure way, that shrinkage is kept to a minimum, and that clients have all the information required to manage stock levels. As Brightpoint India has an understanding of the products it manages, Brightpoint India normally actively works with the network operator or consignor to ensure that the product cycles are managed on a regular basis.

• Stock Control & Cycle Counts

Regular Counts of stock are essential in order to maintain high levels of control and visibility while minimizing potential shrinkage, cycle counts and other inventory controls are in place in all Brightpoint India facilities.

• Reconciliation & Discrepancies

In the case of discrepancies during storage at Brightpoint India facilities, Brightpoint India will perform analysis and compile a report to clients.

Dependent on the type of discrepancy and the result of the investigation,

Brightpoint India will settle or assist in the recovery of the assets as per agreed procedures and forms. The discrepancy investigation and reports will include shipment details (AWB number, date and carrier), product details (description, code, missing/damaged quantity, serials) and discrepancy description (including photos).
