Major Community Involvement Projects
ERASE
Brightpoint employees have volunteered for St. Vincent's ERASE (Emergency Room Advice Safety and Education) Salt Project each year since 2002, helping bag salt for distribution to the elderly in the community. The Salt Project began in an effort to help prevent falls and raise awareness of this yearly health issue during icy, snowy weather. Brightpoint is proud to participate in this worthwhile effort. In 2004, Brightpoint employees sent care packages to the armed forces in Iraq. And in 2005, Brightpoint employees generously provided necessities and made holiday wishes come true for three local families in need
Brightpoint Week of Caring
One week each year, Brightpoint employees provide their time, labor and services to an organization needing assistance. Past organizations have included Day Spring Center, Camp Jameson and the Marion County Children's Guardian Home. Brightpoint's 2005 Week of Caring took place at the St. Christopher Center in Indianapolis. Our associates donated more than 680 volunteer hours, helping to renovate and expand classrooms at the center. Click here to view local news coverage of Brightpoint's 2005 Week of Caring.
